Description

When Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars released a few weeks ago, I couldn't help but notice how much I like the new GDI and Nod logos.

Being bored (as usual) I decided to recreate the logos with a little twist (no pun intended), by using the GDI style for the Nod logo and vice versa.

This is the first one, a GDI-styled Nod logo, completely made from scratch. There's a whole eagle on the original GDI logo, which made me want to use a whole scorpion for this logo, too, instead of only the tail, like in the original Nod logo. I also made sure there are no curves in the scorpion, since the GDI eagle doesn't have any, either. All in all, I'm quite happy with the result.

If you like this logo, please take a look at the "Global Brotherhood" counterpart.

Headcanon: NDI and Global Brotherhood are two opposing factions that believed the other was right. Each of them captured each other's leaders, and managed to convince them to use each other's technologies, and are now known as Global Brotherhood and NDI. NDI, while being a terrorist group, tries to put an effort to save civilians and right their wrongs by removing the tiberium.

Global Brotherhood is different: They seek to use the tiberium, and lie about using it to further their own goals of "world peace", when really all they do is "capture civilians" (save??? big question marks.) and torture them at home base, claiming they are rescuing them from NDI. They hold civilians and other captured units captive until they tell them where NDI is on the map.

NDI is similar, yet it actally reassures the Civilians they Actually Help by telling them they are actually on their side, and only seek true world peace, as NOD normally would. GDI seeks power through domination over NOD, and NOD seeks Power through Tiberium. It only makes sense for this to be a role-swap.

I imagiine this would be called... Tiberian Moon: Command & Conquer.
